I sort of forgot to blog about this yesterday, but the second issue of the SharePoint 2010 Beta series from USP Journal is now available to subscribers. In my personal opinion, the coolest thing is that I have now officially written my first SharePoint 2010 application, and that’s without any NDA access 🙂
Another cool thing is the list of new field and list types in SharePoint 2010. For example, in tune with what I previously wrote about the new SharePoint 2010 solution sandbox, there is a new SolutionCatalog list type (type 121, by the way).
I also launched another thing earlier this week, and that is a subscription thing for USP Journal. I don’t want to force readers to pay for issues they do not want, so rather than paying for all issues for a certain period of time, you can now purchase a bundle of issues, current of future, as a single package. You event get a discount, as you actually get more issues than what you purchase.
So, if you’re considering getting the SharePoint 2010 Beta series, consider if you want to get one of the Understanding SharePoint Journal subscriptions.
